This sound bite was sent to me by my friend, Amy, Gold Star mother of Cpl Joshua Watkins. Josh, a United States Marine, made the ultimate sacrifice for each of us in October, 2006, while serving in Fallujah.
Josh is just one of the countless Americans that have given their lives for each of us so that we can live and worship freely in this great nation. Please honor his memory as well as all those whom have served in our nation’s military by taking 10 minutes out of your day to listen to the history behind the Star Spangled Banner.
